Aura started as a side project by a software engineer with an eye for detail and very little patience for mass-produced fashion. What began as a personal habit of hunting down beautifully made pieces has grown into a small, curated boutique.
Aura has partnered with a leading boutique to bring you designer saree collections that are handcrafted and hand-curated by experienced artisans. Every piece is selected individually, not manufactured in bulk — which means what you see is what exists, not a preview of thousands of identical copies.
Alongside sarees, Aura also carries a hand-picked kurta collection, chosen for clear, well-defined color palettes rather than trend-driven prints. The same standard applies across both: each piece has to earn its place in the collection before it earns a place on the site.
Working through a boutique partnership rather than running production in-house means Aura can stay small and selective by design. Pieces are added when something genuinely stands out, not on a fixed schedule — so the collection will always feel more like a personal edit than a catalog.
Why "Aura"
A name felt right when it pointed at something you can sense but not quite measure — the particular presence a well-made piece carries into a room before anyone says a word about it. That's the feeling behind every piece we choose to carry.
What to expect
New pieces are added as they're sourced and curated, often just one or two at a time. Sarees and kurtas are chosen for their craftsmanship and color first — if something speaks to you, it's worth acting on, since pieces don't restock once they sell.
